RED & GOLD CHILI

RED & GOLD CHILI

Ingredients
2 lbs Grass-fed ground beef
2 strips bacon, chopped
2 large yellow onions, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 carrots, diced
3 tbls chili powder
1 tsp cumin
hot sauce (apply to your threshold)
1 Anchor Steam beer
1 bay leaf
1 can tomatoes, crushed
½ cup water
2 cups cooked black or pinto beans

Garnish: sour cream, shredded cheese, green onion, cilantro, a pint of your favorite San Francisco beer

1) Cook bacon in a large pot until crispy

2) Add ground beef, brown

3) Add onion, carrot, garlic. Cook until soft

4) Add spices and hot sauce

5) Deglaze with beer

6) Add remaining ingredients, cook for 1 ½ hours (or until half-time)

7) Season with salt to taste

Return to game, cheer. Repeat.
